Speaking of impulsivity… Have you any idea what I’ve posted today in regards to this situation and pervasive anti-black sentiment within the APIA community (as an APIA individual) and the need for us to address and remedy the roots of this ingrained racism that many of us have adopted? Have I called for a mass of folks to assault her? If you’re not really sure what she has been saying on twitter or her blog… how are you contributing to a dialogue instead of distracting? Do you really think there is an angry crowd outside her door, armed and ready for violence? This isn’t about her individual capacity to effectively accomplish genocide, there are deeper ‘in-community’ and ‘Black-Asian solidarity’ issues that have been raised and engaged over the course of the day. Her racist rants on twitter have been switched to private rather than publicly offensive. So don’t come at it like the only thing that happened today was that some folks got pissed and spat some violent words over a racist who was calling for their removal from the human race.

Again, if I was capable of championing all the issues I’d wish to be able to champion, things would be a lot better in the world today I’m sure. We are all aiming for similar goals anyway. Backtracking and trying to cover up your statements by bringing up other racial issues which I’ve never touched upon because this is not the focus of my argument really doesn’t help your subtly threatening original post towards this stupid individual.

I’m only trying to argue that what some silly individuals are espousing on Tumblr in regards to this issue is not helping the issue. It’s going to hurt everyone involved, actually.

I think the entire point, and thread is missing you. My “subtly threatening op” was that I am tired of folks stepping in and only looking at the angry words against a person and completely ignoring the violent and genocidal vitriol that triggered that reaction. You’ll note that NONE of that is even REMOTELY targeted at Hyun and more frustration at people who will opine on one side while ignoring the cause of the incident. And how the fuck is me telling you that you have no basis of understanding for any of my commentary today backtracking and covering? My posts are up and evident. Your argument with me is baseless.
